wider community.
Base your article on what you have read in both texts, but be careful to use your own words.
Address both of the bullet points.
Write about 250 to 350 words.
Up to 15 marks are available for the content of your answer, and up to 25 marks for the
quality of your writing.

Dear Headteacher,

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for the proposal to establish a repair café at our school, inspired by the transformative experiences shared in the texts about community-driven repair initiatives. These narratives not only spotlight the practical benefits of such endeavors but also their profound impact on fostering a culture of sustainability and curiosity among participants of all ages.

As a parent, I feel that it is important to cultivate the innate curiosity and eagerness to learn that children possess, especially when it comes to understanding and mending the inner workings of everyday objects. It is evident that facilitating an environment where students can engage hands-on with technology and household items not only demystifies these gadgets but also empowers our children with the confidence and skills to tackle problems creatively. The joy and pride in reviving a seemingly obsolete video player, as recounted, underscore the value of practical learning experiences that complement traditional education.
